March 2020
The month we went into quarantine! Seems like a lifetime ago. We also celebrated Pete's 5th birthday (how is he five!?).
We are at Hamilton's, which is I think the last time we went to a restaurant in Auburn.
In our driveway with a sugar-free lollipop. Pete refuses to eat them (give me the sugar kind, please).
At East-West in Birmingham, where we went the week before quarantine. I signed Pete up for an art class at the museum, and though we don't have any pictures it was a massive failure. All the kids were older, and it was a class on impressionism or something and Pete basically spent an hour painting a canvas white. (He went with Mat, not me.)
Hank refuses to sit in the stroller, but he will ride in this little bike forever.
Sometimes you prefer to drink your milk out of a (plastic) wine glass.
This was after I installed a bidet in the upstairs bathroom (it seemed like a good idea with the toilet paper shortage) and I installed it incorrectly and water leaked through Pete's ceiling vent. Here he is telling me to "Never touch anything, ever again."
I've been cooking a lot...

They love to get in our cars and play
I believe Aunt Nancí got this for the boys! Still a favorite.
This was not on my watch. The boys love Coke Zeros, which their Poppy drinks, and they found his stash and someone (Mat) can't tell them no.
An Alabama moment
As far as I can tell, being the favorite parent has more drawbacks than not
Pete likes to tell secrets
Pete's birthday cake, which helped make!
Pete is extremely into Pikachu and Pokemon right now, and thus, so is Hank.

We got yard signs for Pete!
One of his ill-fated zoom lessons
A quarantine haircut. Hank didn't get his haircut, but he wanted to do what Pete was doing.
