Pete's Twenty-sixth Week, September 17 to 23

We're getting into more of a routine around here. Pete generally wakes up anywhere from 5 to 6:30. Usually closer to 5. Then we hang out until 8, at which point he goes down for another nap. Sometimes he takes great naps; other times he wakes up after 45 minutes. Just when we think we have his schedule figured out, he changes it! On Mondays and Wednesdays his babysitter comes in the afternoon; on the other days, it's the morning. Pete LOVES his babysitters--I'll have to take pictures. Pete still seems very close to crawling, and gets frustrated that he can't propel himself forward by flapping his arms, but he's not there yet, which is A-OK with me. Our house is so far from baby-proofed it's a little overwhelming to think about. As of September 23, Pete had still not cut his first tooth, but (spoiler alert!) it came through the next week. To be continued...

The cute thing he does with his lips. I think this was at 6 AM, by which point Pete had been up for an hour. This guy is an EARLY RISER.
